About
Andre Bonk has been working full-time in the New York film industry for eight years, since graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with BFA in Film and Television Production in 2016. He is currently working as a cinematographer and lighting professional, and is a member of IATSE Local 52, Electric Department.
He began as a camera tech and lamp operator, and since then has taken on a wide variety of roles. He has worked as a gaffer on everything from music videos to feature films, designed the lighting and projection setups for runway shows for brands such as Linder and Private Policy, shot short films and commercials, and worked as a Best Boy Electric managing large crews on films such as Dumb Money, You Hurt My Feelings, and Fire Island.
When he’s not on set, you might find him biking, camping, or (still) trying to learn how to kickflip.
